HOW PAIRING WORKS
From a new fob to a bike that recognises it
1. We confirm the system. The make, model and year tell us how your bike pairs fobs.
2. We pair the fob. Using our programming equipment, we register the new fob with the motorcycle’s security module.
3. We test the fob. We test unlocking and starting the bike, and check any spare fobs at the same visit.

When a smart key stops working
Start with the fob battery, which is the most common cause. If a fresh battery does not help, the fob may be water-damaged, worn or have lost its pairing, and it can often be repaired or reprogrammed.
